Vince Staples Taps Ray J & Buddy For Episode 2 Of ‘The Vince Staples Show’

Watch the “Sheet Music” chapter of the emcee/actor’s digital series.

(AllHipHop News) Long Beach’s Vincent Staples is a well-known super-fan of William “Ray J” Norwood. Vince famously called Ray J one of the greatest West Coast artists of all time, and the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star returned the love.

Staples does not just declare about his appreciation for Ray J, he also tapped the singer/actor to appear in the second episode of The Vince Staples Show. “Sheet Music” includes an awkward scene where it seemed like Ray was serenading Vince.

In addition, the latest installment of the digital series features a cameo from fellow California rapper Simmie “Buddy” Sims III. Vince Staples is credited as a writer for the show with Calmatic serving as the director.

Staples’ corresponding stand-alone single “Sheet Music” is available for streaming. Limited-edition merchandise is being sold as well. The first episode of The Vince Staples Show – titled “So What” – debuted in August.
