The southern rap star believes he created the blueprint for today's Hip Hop.

(AllHipHop News) Waka Flocka has been trying to release Flockavelli 2 for half a decade. Back in 2015, the Atlanta resident blamed Atlantic Records on the album's delay.

According to Waka's Instagram page, F2 is finally set to see the light of day. He posted the album's cover art with a caption that read, "October 5th!!!"

The first Flockaveli was released in 2010 and included production by Lex Luger, Southside, Drumma Boy, and more. Waka believes his debut LP heavily influenced modern rap music.

"The reason hip hop sound like it is today [no cap.] This the album that opened the door for all the young n-ggas!!!! Watching this generation let me know I did my part," wrote the 31-year-old Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alum on IG.
