(AllHipHop News) DMV emcee Wale let loose the It's Complicated EP in March. He's back with another short project in the form of Self Promotion.

The 4-track collection includes the song "Salary Kaep." Wale's record takes its name from NFL quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick.

"Give Kaepernick a new team to check. Right now, cause sh-t gettin’ deep for us right now. They killing our seeds, boy right now.
So we gonna take a knee 'fore he pipe down," raps the 33-year-old avid sports fan.

Numerous Hip Hop stars contributed to Kaepernick's #10For10 initiative as part of the former San Francisco 49ers player's Million Dollar Pledge. Meek Mill, Snoop Dogg, Jhené Aiko, Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, T.I., Joey Bada$$, and Alicia Keys joined Kaep in donating funds to "organizations working in oppressed communities."
