(AllHipHop News) Atlanta emcee J.I.D made headlines this week when he responded to Tory Lanez calling out his Dreamville Records crew. Jiddy's name also spread across social media timelines when images from the Revenge Of The Dreamers III recording sessions made their way to the internet.
J.I.D gave concert goers in Santa Ana, California a preview of what to expect from Revenge Of The Dreamers III. The Spillage Village representative played a song that could appear on the label's compilation.
Previously, Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim Hamad posted a snippet of a #ROTD3 track by J. Cole. The team invited numerous people to Atlanta's Tree Sound Studio. Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, Ari Lennox, EarthGang, 6lack, Big K.R.I.T., Isaiah Rashad, Lil Baby, Rapsody, Rick Ross, T.I., Vince Staples, Wale, and other artists were said to be in attendance.
J.I.D will obviously be one of the voices on Revenge Of The Dreamers III. This contribution will come after earning critical acclaim for his 2018 solo effort DiCaprio 2. The '18 XXL Freshman class member is also working with a legendary producer for his next collection.
"I'm doing this project with No I.D. It's cooked. It's crazy. It's like the conceptual project I was talking about. Everybody's cooked. It's amazing," revealed the man born Destin Route in an interview published last year.
