Wendy Williams Shades Nicki Minaj's Husband & Brother For Being Sex Offenders

(AllHipHop News) While most of the celebrity news media was mainly just congratulating Nicki Minaj on her recent supposed nuptials to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, Wendy Williams went a different direction with the story. The daytime talk show host took shots at Minaj’s cosmetic enhancements and reminded her audience of Petty’s past criminal convictions.

“Can you imagine a burgeoning belly with these burgeoning hips? I mean, the plastic of it all. She’s gonna have a big belly and she’s short and she’s got the boobs and the hips,” said Wendy about Nicki Minaj. “I don’t know what [Petty] does for a living. I just know that he did time in jail… he’s a sex offender. Well, she’s no stranger to that because her brother’s in jail for sex offending.”

The TV gossip queen continued, “Well, first-degree manslaughter. Now, [Petty] served seven years in prison, and he’s also a sex offender. Is a manslaughter a killer? Okay, so he’s a killer and a sex offender. Well, Nicki, congratulations.”

Petty, 41, is a level two registered sex offender in the state of New York after being convicted of attempted first-degree rape with a knife in 1995. In 2006, he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter for a 2002 shooting death and served seven years in prison for that offense.

Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, was found guilty in Nassau County, New York of sexually assaulting his then 11-year-old stepdaughter on multiple occasions. State Supreme Court Justice Robert McDonald denied a motion to have the conviction overturned. Maraj is facing life in prison. Sentencing in that case is scheduled for November 18.
