(AllHipHop News) will.i.am has reportedly agreed to pay a former business partner $2.2 million over a failed headphone line.
Executives at FIH Mobile sued the Black Eyed Peas star's company i.am+ over a failed wireless headphone partnership, claiming they had a deal with the singer to produce his own line of music accessories.
However, officials at his firm refused to pay their bill once they had received the products, which allegedly cost $3.4 million.
In February, The Voice U.K. judge asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed, insisting he never had an agreement in place over the line.
He also accused FIH chiefs of failing to deliver the products on time, producing headphones that were not up to scratch, and failing to fulfill orders, for which he claimed to have already paid them $5 million.
Now it seems the two parties have since reached a settlement in the dispute, and the legal battle is now set to be closed.
