Wiz Khalifa Responds To “Eyes Looking Korean” Criticism; Tyga Shares His Opinion

Some Asians were offended by Wiz's bar.

(AllHipHop News) Wiz Khalifa is not backing down from lyrics on his Rolling Papers 2 album. On the song "Hot Now," Wiz raps "smoke got my eyes looking Korean."

The Taylor Gang leader was accused of promoting offensive stereotypes about Asians. Khalifa stopped by The Breakfast Club, and he discussed the lyric controversy on the radio show.

"I also say I smoke like a Jamaican and I also say I live like a white man. So chill out. I’m not a racist. I love all races," responded Wiz. When asked if he would like to apologize, the 30-year-old rhymer responded, "No, I have Korean friends that are not offended, so I don’t know those people who are saying that."

Paparazzi caught up with fellow rapper Tyga, who is half- Vietnamese, to get his views on Wiz's Korean eyes line. The "Taste" hitmaker stated, "What’s wrong with it? I'm Asian. Wiz my dawg."
