(AllHipHop News) It's been a very memorable month for the Wu-Tang Clan. The iconic Hip Hop group celebrated having their own District Day/street naming in Staten Island and their four-part Showtime documentary Of Mics and Men debuted on May 10. The Wu is also gifting fans with new music.
"You've seen episode 1/ Wu documentary by now (and if you haven't, what were you doing last weekend), now listen to the music inspired by the series. On [May 17], we're coming with a new Wu-Tang EP from [36 Chambers] and Mass Appeal, so let your boss know you'll be in late to work," tweeted the verified Wu-Tang Twitter account.
Over the past five years, the Wu has dropped A Better Tomorrow and The Saga Continues. Controversial businessman Martin Shkreli reportedly bought the one-of-a-kind 2015 album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million before the secret LP was seized by the federal government after Shkreli's securities fraud conviction.
Members of the New York-based collective are currently touring Europe with Public Enemy and De La Soul. Wu-Tang Clan is scheduled to perform in the States beginning later this month.
