(AllHipHop News) The Breaks Music Festival is returning to Chicago's Toyota Park on September 8. Volume II of the event will encompass live sets by some Hip Hop legends as well as emerging emcees.
Wu-Tang Clan is headlining the fest. They iconic NYC rap collective will celebrate the 25 year anniversary of their masterpiece Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
Fellow New York-bred rappers Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) and Talib Kweli are also part of the lineup. Chicago's own wordsmiths Vic Mensa and Twista will be hitting the stage as well.
“Last year's lineup was met with such enthusiasm, that we saw no option but to do it again, and go bigger. We plan to take it up a notch or five from last year's first volume, and couldn't be more excited about the array of talent we have assembled," says The Breaks producer Chris Triebes.
