YBN Cordae Names His Top 5 Emcees Of All Time

The 21-year-old rising rap star listed several legends from the 1990s.

(AllHipHop News) YBN Cordae is clearly a pupil of Hip Hop culture. The DMV-bred emcee born Cordae Dunston has meticulously studied the greats that came before him.

Cordae stopped by the Nick Cannon Mornings show on Power 106 to promote his new album The Lost Boy. Cannon took the chance to ask the Young Boss N*ggas collective member to list his Top 5 emcees dead-or-alive.

"This don't gotta be the greatest, this just your favorite," said Cannon. Cordae replied, "It's no order... You got Jay Z. You got Nas. Then you got Tupac. You got Biggie... That fifth spot, I'll give Big L the edge over Eminem, just personally."

The Lost Boy has received positive reviews from music critics and fans. YBN Cordae recruited Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla Sign, Pusha T, Meek Mill, and Arin Rey to perform as features on the project.

Dope List for a Young Dude! It shows me that he's very aware of what it means to be a Great MC/Rapper. He gets extra points for knowing who Big L is/was.
