(AllHipHop News) West coast rapper YG and AD were in the middle of shooting the music video for their track "Thug" in Compton, California on Sunday afternoon when gunfire rang out across the set, sending more than 200 people running for safety.
Law enforcement sources stated that the incident appears to be gang related, as they found about 30 shell casings from an AK-47 on the ground and recovered a handgun, although the owner of the weapon yet to be determined.
While YG and his crew were detained before being released, a rep for YG confirmed to TMZ.com that the artist had no involvement and was fully cooperative with law enforcement. A positive spin on this situation is that no one was hit in the hail of bullets. No one has been arrested as of yet in connection with this incident.
