(AllHipHop News) It’s about time YG took over Coachella.

In fact, he changed the name to Boachella, repping Bompton all the way to Indio, California.

During Day 3 of Weekend 1, the West Coast spitter performed an explosive set at the Sahara Tent in the 7pm time slot.

Right off the bat, images of the late Nipsey Hussle popped up on the screens behind him.

Exploding onto the stage with “BPT” YG was rocking a black vest with Nipsey’s portrait on the back, as the rest of his crew rocked his 4 Hunnid clothing line.

During his set, he let his fans know how broken he was over the loss of his good friend.

YG stated, “I’ve been trying to get to Boachella for motherf##kin’ years. Me and Nipsey used to talk about doing Boachella. He’d call it Coachella but I’ma call it Boachella. 2019, I”m finally doing that s##t!”

He went on to thank everyone who came out. “I just wanna say thank y’ll. I appreciate y’ll.”

He continues, “we just lost one of the greats,” before calling Nip the “black Jesus.”

After playing “Suwop,” he asked for more tequila — something he stated was the only reason to get through the pain.

From there, YG played all his hits, including “Handgun” and “My N##ga.” He also took the time and asked the crowd to join him in a moment of silence honoring Nipsey.

He was slated to drop his forthcoming album Stop Snitching on April 26th, but pushed it back to May 3rd.

One of the more entertaining parts of his set was when a fake Donald Trump came forth and started rambling.

This was the perfect segue into “FDT,” before taking it all the way back to 2009’s “Toot It & Boot It.”

The first special guest of the evening was “Tyga,” who ran onto the stage during “B##ches Ain’t S##t” (RIP Nipsey). You know the crowd wasn’t gonna let T-Raww leave without playing “Taste”!

YG went on to perform “She Bad,” “Left Right,” and “Don’t Tell ‘Em” for the ladies.

The grand finale was “Big Bank” when Mustard, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean came out to do their parts.

Boachella ‘19 for the books.
