YG Explains The "Wack Ass" Rollout And Promotion For His '4Real 4Real' Album

The project features Meek Mill, Tyga, DaBaby, Kamaiyah, and more.

(AllHipHop News) Keenon "YG" Jackson returns today with his fourth studio album 4Real 4Real. The 4Hunnid Records/Def Jam Recordings release arrives just nine months after 2018's Stay Dangerous.

For 4Real 4Real, YG recruited Tyga, Jon Z, Valee, Boogie, Meek Mill, Arin Ray, SAFE, Kamaiyah, G-Eazy, RJ, Ty Dolla Sign, DaBaby, and other artists. Track 13 - "My Last Words" - is a tribute to the late Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom.

"Excuse my wack ass album rollout promotions, I ain’t been in the mood to do none of that sh*t since they took my brother! But 'The Marathon Continues' - 4REAL 4REAL! WESTSIDE," tweeted YG, referring to Nipsey Hussle being murdered on March 31.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old Compton representative did perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Tyga and Jon Z. YG and his collaborators ran through the 4Real 4Real cut "Go Loko." The trio also hit the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage earlier this month.
