(AllHipHop News) Last Friday (November 22nd) YG gave the audience at Cipha Sounds' Take It Personal a story to show why his debut album is called My Krazy Life. Speaking to the sold out crowd at UCB Theatre East, the Compton MC discusses what went wrong when he tried to run from the police.
According to YG, his mad dash from the police resulted from somewhat altruistic intentions as his friend called YG to help him pay his rent by a robbery. What ensued after involves a flat head screw driver, YG's mother trying to keep her son out the streets through starvation and more.
The UCB Theatre improv actors turned that story into a hilarious satire of police racism and gave the first joke about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin that is actually funny.
Cipha Sounds' Take It Personal is every Friday at 9PM at the UCB Theatre East on 153 E 3rd St. Tomorrow's show (November 29th) will feature special guest Sheek Louch. Tickets are available here.
