YMCMB's Birdman Hit With $1 Million Construction Lien
(AllHipHop News) Cash Money co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams is facing a $1 million lien on a Miami mansion according to TheJasmineBrand. The site is reporting that Birdman is being accused of failing to pay the Zankey Construction Company for the work they did on the house.
In legal documents, Zankey claims that the Rich Gang member failed to pay one invoice for $998,700.97 and a second invoice for $43,049.35. They state Birdman owes them a total of $1,041,750.32 for the renovations done to the property.
Birdman reportedly borrowed $5 million to upgrade the house after he bought the waterfront mansion from RockStar energy drink creator Russell Weiner for $14.5 million in 2012. The 19,000-square foot home was once owned by Scott Storch, but it was repossessed after the music producer went through financial difficulties. Weiner bought the 9-bedroom, 17-bathroom residence for $7 million in 2010.
