Yo Gotti And Lil Baby Team Up To Sign Eastside, Detroit Rapper 42 Dugg

The rising rapper is off to a great start with a major deal.

(AllHipHop News) Rappers Yo Gotti and Lil Baby stunned fans over the weekend when they announced they were going into business together.

The two rappers were on the stage on March 9 in Detroit for Meek Mill's The Motvation Tour, when they revealed local rapper 42 Dugg was signed to Yo Gotti's CMG imprint, in partnership with Atlanta's Lil Baby.

42 Dugg has gained a huge buzz over the last two years thanks to his mixtape "Young and Turnt," while his tracks have garnered tens of millions of views across the net.

After a brief bidding war, 42 Dugg, who hails from Detroit's Eastside, decided to sign with CMG and Lil Baby.

“I think 42 Dugg is a superstar he’s got the voice, the music, the look, and the hustle," Yo Gotti said. "I spent the last couple of weeks moving around with him over a week Just in Detroit alone I watched him and how he moves and how people react to his presence and his music, and also how he takes his s##t serious! I’m All in!”

Lil Baby is taking 42 Dugg out on the road for his upcoming New Generation Tour, alongside City Girls + Blueface. The tour kicks off March 13 in Houston and will finalize April 20, in none other than Atlanta.
