Young Thug Now Claims The Outfit On His 'Jeffery' Mixtape Cover Was Not A Dress

The rapper also known as SEX does not want his children to see him in a certain light.

(AllHipHop News) "Had to wear the dress 'cause I had a stick," says Young Thug on "Just How It Is" off his So Much Fun album. Some listeners assumed that bar was a reference to the cover art for Thugger's 2016 mixtape Jeffery.

Even though Thug seemed to refer to the ruffled, blue-white ensemble as a dress in the past (as recently as this July), the Atlanta rhymer is now insisting he does not consider it a dress. Thug spoke about the highly-memed artwork and his gender-bending aesthetic during a sit down with Big Boy's Neighborhood.

"Now it's to the point where this n*gga can wear 20 dresses. He got a stick under the dress. I wish I didn't have to do that because my kids get to grow up and see this image that I don't want them to see, but it's like, sh*t, I had to," said Young Thug.

The 28-year-old performer/label executive claimed the first time he actually wore a dress he did not know it was a dress. He later rejected the idea that his Raiden-esque cover art featured female attire.

Thug added, "Hell nah. The Jeffery cover? No. No. Y'all thought that was a dress?... It's kind of like a coat, kind of like a quilt... It's like one long quilt. I'm putting out a documentary and it got me getting this sh*t put on me."

Young Thug also made it clear during his Real 92.3 interview that he is not sexually attracted to other men. Last year, Thug seemed to embrace his role of taking arrows for stepping outside the box despite often being labeled as a homosexual for his clothing choices and loving comments under male entertainer's Instagram photos.

"I’m the drip god. I created this sh*t," declared Thug in 2018. “I made the way for young n*ggas to open up and be they self. I did this. I got crucified. They called me gay. They ain’t call y’all n*ggas gay."
