Yung Bans Talks New Song With XXXTentacion & Wanting To Work With Britney Spears

Will the southerner get to collab with the iconic "Toxic" singer?

(AllHipHop News) Misunderstood by Yung Bans hit DSPs on July 24. The album includes "Ready Set Go" featuring 03 Greedo and the late XXXTentacion. Bans spoke about creating the track with Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio host Travis Mills.

"'Ready Set Go' - the song with X, that's just a special song to me. All the fans feel a certain way because he didn't have an actual verse, but he was singing the hook with me and then we had the phone call as the interlude," offered Bans. "[Producer] WondaGurl put that together so beautifully. This is what he left us with and we were able to make it into a beautiful song. A masterpiece."

Yung Bans also told Mills about wanting to work with a certified Pop music legend. The Atlanta-raised rapper was hoping to get Britney Spears on a track called "1,2,3,4" which was produced by Kenny Beats.

"I'm trying to get Britney Spears on it.. Britney Spears, where you at?" said Bans. "I reached out to all the biggest people, the highest people in the industry like, 'Yo, how can we get Britney Spears on this song?'"
