(AllHipHop News) In the latest reminder that the internet is forever, Yung Miami of the City Girls had to address resurfaced audio of her groupmate JT seemingly taking shots at other female rappers. One of the targets was their "Twerk" collaborator.
"Cardi B? Cardi B had Love & Hip Hop to help her. We ain't got Love & Hip Hop. And you keep talking, I'ma diss Cardi," said the currently incarcerated JT in the old clip. "I don't mind dissing a b*tch."
There were also recordings of JT taking aim at Nicki Minaj and Kash Doll. Remy Ma's name was mentioned as well. In a response video, Yung Miami claimed JT's leaked bars were from two years ago.
"We were playing around, just freestyling on a beat," said Miami. “We never thought nobody was going to hear that sh*t. We ain't never think we were going to be signed. We never thought none of that. We was just playing around."
The Florida native born Caresha Brownlee added, "I’m too aggravated. Y’all is just aggravating as f*ck. Y’all wanna end the City Girls so bad, but that ain’t gonna happen.”
City Girls are now signed to Quality Control Music which is the same label home as Cardi B's husband Offset and his Migos trio. In addition, Cardi is connected to QC's management division.
"At the end of the day, Cardi is QC. We all a f*cking family. We all a team. We not never going against Cardi B. Ever," declared Yung Miami. "Y'all taking some old sh*t and trying to make it like it's a new diss track. JT this, JT that. Keep JT out y'all f*cking mouth."
