Capital relaunches Tamla Records

Peace y'all is your boy Johnny fast lane here with all hip hop calm. So capital records is gonna relaunch Tom of the records

Let's talk hip hop Hi Joe, this is pretty dope right because capital records they just acquired Tom of the records right Tom of the records is an old

record label from like the 1950s that was founded by Barry Gordon, right

I mean the whole situation is I mean y'all know Stevie Wonder used to be on Tom of the records, right

Um, so the whole situation is that now? There are executives that are up at Capitol they are saying that they want this to be a positive record label, right

That is gonna focus on hip hop and R&B, but they're only gonna have positive artists signed to that record label, right

I'm not think it's fire I actually heard about this idea before where it's like conscious music or music that's gonna push the community forward

Versus like, you know gang shit or whatever like that and there's a home in a space for everything, right

So for that one record label to focus on that would be fine, right? Now we don't know what artists are gonna be signed to Tom of the records yet

If they're going to be artists that we already know that are on some positive shit

Or if they're going to be completely new artists, they're gonna be introduced to us. I'm very interested to see that

But this is a huge opportunity for a lot of people right a and are who could pull positive people off the streets or social

Media or whatever like that. There's so many possibilities here, but I think that this is fire
