Jay-Z's flagship 40/40 club closes down

So Jay-Z's 4040 club is closing down. Let's talk hip hop! All right, so the situation is crazy, right? Because Jay-Z's flagship 4040 club just closed

down, right? So y'all know the whole situation, man. Jay-Z opened up his very first 4040 club

in Manhattan, New York back in 2003, right? Well, that has just shut down at the end of last month

which is July, right? Now, Jay-Z's team, they say that they are looking for a new location within

New York to bring the 4040 club to, but we will see what happens, right? So there are other 4040

club locations around the country, right? There's one in Vegas, Atlanta, Atlantic City. There's

another one in New York, in Brooklyn. So there are 4040 clubs all over the place. I think the

one in Vegas maybe closed down for a year, but it's back open. The one in Atlantic City closed

down permanently. But y'all get the point, man. Basically, the whole situation is that the 4040

club, the flagship location, the one that's in Manhattan that just closed down, I mean, they had

a bunch of violations, health code violations back in 2012. They got sued by a chef back in 2011

So there's been a lot of things going on, and they probably just wanted to cut their losses

and then just open up a brand new location somewhere else, right? So we'll see what happens

man. It's the end of an era because a lot of things went down in the original 4040 club
