So, Metro Boomin congratulates Lil Uzi Vert on breaking a hip-hop record. Let's talk hip-hop

Aight yo, this situation is crazy, right? Because Metro Boomin just congratulated Lil Uzi Vert for

having the number one album in the country right now, right? As you guys know, it's been the whole

entire year. It is July, man, and hip-hop has not had a number one album this year at all, right

And it's crazy because it's 50 years in hip-hop and this has been the longest gap that hip-hop

has not had a number one album in the last 30 years, right? Now, there's been number one singles

I think Lil Durk's All My Life, that was number one, right? And I think like Doja Cat went number

one with Attention, but as far as albums go, there has been no number one albums at all this

year, right? Until now, man, Lil Uzi Vert did it, right? So, Billboard, they actually posted this up

because it's number one on the Billboard Hot 200 charts. They said, Lil Uzi Vert ends the longest

gap between number one rap albums on the Billboard 200 charts this century. The last number one album

was 30 weeks ago. That was Metro Boomin's Heroes and Villains, right? So, Metro Boomin, we posted

that on his Instagram story and gave the handshaking emoji to Lil Uzi Vert, right? Which is

pretty cool because it's almost like he's passing the crown to Uzi as well, right? So, it was pretty

dope and fire. And I mean, shout out to Uzi, man. He sold 176,000 copies the first week, which is more
