Nas and Lil Wayne get inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame

So Nas and Lil Wayne get inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Let's talk hip hop

Peace y'all it's your boy Johnny Fastlane here. So this is pretty dope man because Lil Wayne and Nas

they just got inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame right. I know what you're thinking

there's a Hip Hop Hall of Fame? Well there is now right. So they're the first two people to

be inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Thank you to Billboard and 50 years of hip hop right

So today is 50 years of hip hop. Today is hip hop's birthday. Happy birthday hip hop right

So because of that man Billboard they celebrated hip hop and they gave out a few awards. They also

created the Hip Hop Hall of Fame which is pretty dope because you guys know there's been a Rock

and Roll Hall of Fame for years right. To the point where rock and roll is not even that popular of a

genre anymore. Pop music is. Hip hop rap is the most popular genre of music in the world. But there

was no Hip Hop Hall of Fame literally until today right. So it's crazy as hell. Lately the Rock and

Roll Hall of Fame they have been inducting rappers into it right. Even though they're not rock and

roll technically. I mean they're rappers you feel me. So the whole thing is just crazy. I wonder now

what they're going to do if they're going to put you know rappers into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Hip Hop Hall of Fame would just put them here at the Hip Hop Hall of Fame right. The

thing is that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was created by some executive that retired from

Atlantic Records while the Hip Hop Hall of Fame is actually created by Billboard themselves right

So I guess I mean the Hip Hop Hall of Fame seems like they have a little bit more you know everything

on the pulse of what's going on today. So that's pretty dope and shout out to Nas and Lil Wayne

Also Ice Spice got an award from Billboard as well. She got the Rookie of the Year award and

she basically said that this is her first award ever. So she was pretty hype about that too right
