Offset announces new album as he squashes beef with record label

So Offset said his album is turned in. Let's talk hip hop

Aight yo this is pretty dope right because over the weekend Offset announced that his album is

turned in right. He went on Twitter or x and he said album turned in right. So this is fire you

guys know that Offset has been going back and forth with his record label Quality Control

for about two years now. Back in 2021 him and Cardi B they said that they settled with

Quality Control and basically what they wanted was a percentage of his solo projects when Offset

was under the impression that they can only get a percentage of the group projects right

And since Offset is not part of the group anymore he figures that he can eat 100% off of his solo

albums but Pierre wasn't having it right. Since then you know Offset has sued Quality Control

and they've been in litigation for a while but also Quality Control has been sold for like 400

million dollars right. So it appears that Offset is in fact out of his contract and that he will

be releasing new music not under Quality Control anymore just on his own right. Lord knows what

record label he signed to but probably Atlantic with Cardi B but the whole situation is wild

right. As you guys know man they dropped it or Offset dropped his first single called Jealousy

with Cardi B about three weeks ago or whatever like that which was pretty dope. They sent the

3 6 Mafia they had the whole baby boy music video. So I'm looking forward to this and I

just love when Offset gets in his bag. So this time it's definitely time we haven't had a solo

album from Offset since 2019 so that's like three years four years now right. But either way yeah
