RUN-DMC to perform in NYC for Hip-Hop 50

So Run-DMC is headlining a performance on Hip Hop's birthday. Let's talk Hip Hop

Alright y'all so this situation is pretty dope right because Run-DMC they're going to be

headlining a show on Hip Hop's 50th birthday right. You guys know the whole situation man

all year long different publications and platforms they've been celebrating Hip Hop's 50th

anniversary. Hip Hop started 50 years ago man back in 1973 August 11th and Sedgwick Park

well actually it was on Sedgwick Avenue was in the Bronx and Kool Herc was back there at a back

to school party man and he put some turntables together and some speakers and he made this thing

called Hip Hop right. Of course other people like nah Hip Hop really started in Jersey or maybe even

in Queens or maybe even in Brooklyn around that time 72, 73, 74 but y'all get the point right

As far as the legend goes Kool Herc invented it right. Shout out to Kool Herc, shout out to Hip Hop

right. The whole situation though is that on August 11th man this year yeah Run-DMC they're

gonna be headlining this show a bunch of people are going to be there to show love to Hip Hop as

well right. So Snoop Dogg's gonna be there, Lil Wayne, Ice Cube, Eve, Lil Kem, Remy Ma, Trina

T.I., Fat Joe, Common, A$AP Fergie, PMD, Ghostface Killer, Lupe Fiasco, Kool Herc will be there

Slick Rick, a whole bunch of people, Grandmaster Kaz, Curtis Blow, Melly Mel, gots to be there

Roxanne, Shante, Scorpio, the Sugarhill Gang, Battle Clap, Clark Kent, Manny Fresh, Molly Ma

I mean everybody who made any type of you know influence in Hip Hop will be there right. So I

think that this is going to be fire and they even said that more people will be announced. I'm

definitely gonna go to this it'll be right here in New York and yeah man let's celebrate some Hip
