So Tory Lanez gets sentenced to 10 years in prison. Let's talk hip hop

Aight yo this situation is crazy as hell right? Because Uzi just reacted to Tory Lanez getting 10 years in prison

That's right Tory Lanez got sentenced to 10 years right? Y'all know the whole situation man

He got convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in 2020

He was dragging it out man. He was supposed to be convicted in January of this year

He kept delaying it and postponing it right? He was trying to just get probation

They offered him 22 years. He said nah just probation. They offered him 13 years

He said nah just probation right? Then he started saying look I didn't do it but if I did do it, it was because my mom

died and because you know I was abused as a kid and so on and so forth and he should

have just admitted it right? If he would have just copped a plea and said look yeah I did it, he probably would have

gotten like probation, what he wanted right? But instead he took it to trial

He was very adamant about the fact that he did not shoot Megan Thee Stallion and now

they gave him 10 years in prison right? This is state time

This is in California so he has to do at least 85% of the time which means that he has to

do at least 8 and a half years of the 10 years mandatory right

He has already been locked up for about 10 months so they are going to put that towards

the time. So Tory Lanez is looking at getting out of prison exactly about 7 years from now right

Which is 2030 man. So Tory Lanez is going to be gone for a minute

Then somebody asked his lawyers is Tory Lanez going to be deported back to Canada after

he gets out of prison and the lawyers said that it's a little bit too early to think

about that. So I'm guessing during his prison sentence they will try to make sure that he does not

get deported when he gets released but we will see man. Of course they are going to appeal the conviction and the sentence so there's two appeals that

are going to happen but for now he's going upstate man which is crazy and yeah
