YNW Melly gets 6 new charges

Peace y'all it's your boy Johnny Fastlane here with AllHipHop.com. So YNW Melly picks up six

additional charges as the jury selection begins. Let's talk hip hop. Aight yo this situation is crazy right because YNW Melly just got like six new charges

and his jury selection has started right. So you guys know the whole situation man YNW Melly has

been locked up ever since 2018. He is suspected for shooting and killing two of his friends

then just pulling up to the hospital and saying yo we got into a drive-by but really he's the one

allegedly allegedly that shot them right. The whole situation is they arrested him it took them

like four or five years to even get the trial started. The trial started it's over now and it

resulted in a hung jury right. So typically when your trial results in a hung jury they'll let you

out of jail maybe they won't even try you maybe they'll let you out on bail they'll retry you

again and then lock you back up right. The whole situation is that his bail has continued to be

denied while they're going to retry YNW Melly because they're like nah he killed these kids

right. The whole situation is wild because they are pulling at straws at this point they're going

back in there reinvestigating right. So they ended up arresting YNW Bortland who is YNW Melly's

co-defendant and it seems like he's been trying to intimidate witnesses right. So he got arrested

on witness tampering there's no bail for him and now upon investigation they're seeing that YNW

Melly allegedly allegedly was telling Bortland to do certain things right. So that's him communicating

with somebody outside of the jail he's not supposed to that's him witness tampering as well

So he picked up all these additional charges while jury selection is going on right. This whole

situation is crazy. They would like to have the jury selection finished by December 20th so that

they can start the trial on January 8th in the 2024 in the new year right. So we will see what

happens but that's what's going on for now it's not looking good for YNW Melly they are determined

to convict him on double murder. So it seems like that is going to happen starting in January
