Tory Lanez seeks to be put on probation

So, Tory Lanez attempts to get probation in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion

Let's talk hip hop. Aight, so this situation is crazy as hell, right? Because now Tory Lanez is trying to

simply just get probation after being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot

right? You guys know the whole situation went down about three years ago, but he finally got

convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in December of 2022, right? He was supposed to

get sentenced in January, they pushed it back, he was supposed to get sentenced in February

they pushed it back, so on and so forth, right? At first he was looking at 22 years and being

deported and he was like, no, no, no, no, no, please don't deport me, please don't give me

all those years. So they went back to the drawing board, they talked to the judge and it seemed like

they, the prosecution wanted to give Tory Lanez 13 years, right? But still 13 years for Tory

Lanez is a long ass time. He said, no, no, no, I can't do the 13 years. So now what he's trying

to do is just simply get probation, right? So it's going to be one of two things. It seems like

he might get probation, they'll release him. He can go to a drug treatment program because what

his lawyer is arguing now is, okay, okay, we said that he was innocent, all right, so yeah

what if he did it? Maybe he did do it, but it was because he's an alcoholic and he had a bad

upbringing and he was stabbed and shot when he was a teenager and his mom died when he was 11

So he was self-medicating and he's so sorry, what he needs to do is go to a program is what his

lawyer is saying, right? Which is crazy as hell. We'll see what the judge says, but Tory Lanez

should be sentenced next week, right? If the judge does not just simply give Tory Lanez probation

then what they're asking the judge to do is at least just give him the minimum, which is three

years, right? Three years plus time served means that Tory Lanez will probably be out in about a

year and a half or something like that, which would definitely be positive for him. We still

don't know if he's going to get deported once he gets released, but we'll see what happens, man
