Erica Banks disses 1501 Certified

So, Erykah Banks throws some shots at 1501 Certified. Let's talk hip hop

Aight yo, this situation is crazy right? Because Erykah Banks, um, she just dissed her record

label 1501 Certified, right? Or maybe it's not her record label anymore, you guys know the whole

situation. Erykah Banks, she's from Houston, she signed to Karl Crawford who owns 1501 Certified

who's a Houston CEO, right? Megan Thee Stallion used to be also signed to the record label and

Megan Thee Stallion had issues with that record label as well. But today Erykah Banks just dropped

a new song called Bop It In, where she's just straight up dissing the record label, right

She says, I don't give a F about the record label, they see me and they owe me money

they greedy, right? So she just gave them like two lines, maybe like a line and a half

but it's very clear what she's saying, right? And of course you guys know last month somebody

on Twitter was just like, yo, the record label's mishandling Erykah Banks, they need to do better

And then Erykah Banks actually responded to them and said, look, I'm not with that

record label anymore with the hush emoji, but she didn't elaborate on what's going on, right

Now Warner Music is the parent company of 1501 Certified and they do not have her listed on

their website either. So I don't know if she's with the parent company or just completely unsigned

right now, right? So I guess we'll see, but she's still releasing music, so that's good
