Gucci Mane displays grown and maturity

Peace, y'all. It's your boy Johnny Fastlane here with AllHipHop.com. So, Gucci Mane says

that he doesn't want to hear any violent rap. Let's talk hip hop

All right, yo. This is pretty dope, right? Because Gucci Mane is basically talking about

maturing, right? He sat down with Zane Lowe to speak about how he doesn't want to hear

any violent rap. Specifically, he said, drilling and killing rap, right? Which is crazy because

then he kind of talked about how, I know I've done that before too, but I'm not trying to

do that anymore, right? I mean, y'all know the whole situation, man. Gucci Mane announced

that he's dropping a brand new project called A Breath of Fresh Air, and today he actually

dropped a new song called Bluffing with Lil Baby, right? In the song Bluffing with Lil

Baby, Gucci Mane is talking about how he put down the lean, he stopped drinking, he stopped

doing drugs, he's a family man, he's in the gym. So, it's kind of more of the same. In

the interview that Gucci Mane did with Zane Lowe, he's just kind of talking about changing

and maturing as a man, right? He said A Breath of Fresh Air, he wants it to be a different

type of album sonically. He doesn't want to talk about shooting and killing people a lot

or whatever like that. He wants to, I guess, show love and pay homage to his fallen soldiers

and his friends, right? So, he talked about how he wants Takeoff on the album. He talks

about how he wants Young Dolph on the album, Big Scar on the album. You guys know, Takeoff

got shot and killed, Young Dolph got shot and killed, Big Scar overdosed, I think on

fentanyl or something like that. He talks about how he wants Fujiyano on the album who

is locked up right now in prison. He wants Pooh Shiesty on the album who's locked up

right now in prison. He wants Big Wavy Pooh on the album who got killed by gun violence

you know what I'm saying? So, Gucci Mane, it sounds like almost he has survivor's remorse

because Gucci Mane been through it too, man. He's been shot at, he done shot at people

He's been to prison, but he's still here and he's doing well, but a lot of other people

that he was close to are not doing well at all. They're still locked down or even just

not here, right? So, a breath of fresh air is what he's trying to do. I guess he wants

to change the sound of hip hop, especially in Atlanta. This is going to be a more mature
