Jay-Z earns 10 double platinum albums

So Jay-Z becomes the first black artist with 10 double platinum albums. Let's talk hip-hop

Aight yo this is pretty dope right? Because Jay-Z is breaking another record he just became

the first black artist with 10 double platinum albums right? Jay-Z has about 13 official albums

a bunch of mixtapes but 10 of those albums are now double platinum according to RIAA right

And this is fire man because this is across any genre at all. It's Jay-Z with the most double

platinum albums as a black male artist right? And so in hip-hop specifically I mean Drake has 7

double platinum albums so close, Eminem has 8 double platinum so a little closer but Jay-Z is

killing it with 10 right? I mean it's fire man Jay-Z is constantly breaking records. Recently

he just released his book of Hove where he turned the Brooklyn Public Library into a whole exhibit

Everybody was there Beyonce, Ty Ty, Emre Jones I mean everybody was there right? I mean it was

pretty dope and I mean Jay-Z just keeps on like reinventing himself and innovating shit in hip-hop
