Andre 3000 explains why he won't rap on his debut solo album

he's not coming out with a rap album. Let's talk hip hop. Aight yo this situation is crazy right

because Andre 3000 he explains further why he's not coming out with a rap album on Friday right

You guys know the situation man yesterday Andre 3000 announced that he's coming out with a brand

new album on November 19th. Everybody was hype outcast fans and you know Andre 3000 fans

hip hop fans in general until Andre 3000 announced that it's not going to be a rap

album it's going to be an experimental jazz album where he's mainly going to be playing the flute

right. So it was crazy a lot of people were disappointed but Andre 3000 last night he did

an interview where he kind of explains a little bit more why he's not coming out with a rap album

right. He says he loves rap and he loves hip hop but he's just not feeling it right now essentially

right. He says hip hop was such a big part of his youth and he I guess equates that to being like a

kid or like playing right because he says look hip hop makes him feel like he's playing on the

playground with a bunch of kids but that he is in serious mode right now and he ain't got no time to

be playing with y'all basically it's what he said right. So I don't know what kind of headspace Andre

3000 is in but whatever he comes up out of that headspace maybe he needs to come out with this

experimental flute jazz album for like his mental health or whatever the case may be but after that

we need music right. He even said that when you go get the album when you download it or

stream it or whatever like that the album artwork will say warning there are no bars here right

because he doesn't want to trick anybody or troll anybody or make them think that there's going to

be something that is not. He doesn't want to mislead the fans. It's crazy because he's already
