Drake gets sued for an uncleared sample

Hi Joe this situation is crazy, right because Drake is being sued by a Nigerian rapper named over four, right

And the whole situation is that he's basically alleging that Drake used elements of one of his songs

For a song that he has on honestly, never mind called calling my name, right

I'm the whole situation is that back in June of 2021 Apparently one of Drake's lawyers tried to get in contact with this artist to clear the sample

He tried twice like once on June 8th and again on June 13th, right? It seems like they didn't respond

I mean they did but all they said was thank you for sending this email. We received it

So they let them know they got it and I guess they had planned on working on it or whatever trying to clear the sample

But on the 21st Drake dropped honestly, never mind So I guess maybe they didn't have enough time to do it or whatever the case may be

I'm so Drake just put the album out anyway, right? I'm because of that this Nigerian rappers who and Drake for ten million dollars

I'm basically saying that you profited off my song and there are elements in your song calling my name

That I did not allow you to use in your music, right

I'm so honestly, I mean it seems cut and dry and they really may have a good case here

I'm sure that Drake is not gonna have to pay the full 10 million He might sell out of court

But I mean he keeps on having to sell out of court with people just a couple of months though He had to pay four million to Vogue

I'm so now even if he has to pay half of that ten million, which is another five million to this African

That's not Jerry and rapper. I'm things are getting crazy But I mean Drake got the money, but I wouldn't want to have to keep on paying people outside of court
