Rihanna Reportedly Recorded Two Songs For ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

Even though Rihanna has not released a full-length body of work since 2016’s Anti, the R&B/Pop icon always remains one of the most-talked-about recording artists in the world.

According to HitsDailyDouble, the Rihanna music drought could be over in the near future. The site reports that Riri may have recorded two new songs for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will arrive in theaters on November 11, 2022. If Rihanna did contribute tracks for the upcoming movie, fans will get to hear those songs in less than a month.

The first Black Panther film came out in February 2018. Hip Hop superstar Kendrick Lamar curated Black Panther: The Album which features his Oscar-nominated collaboration “All the Stars” with SZA.

Rihanna has provided sounds for movie soundtracks in the past. The 2015 animated motion picture Home featured the Barbadian vocalist’s “Towards the Sun,” “As Real as You and Me,” and “Dancing in the Dark.”

Anti landed on DSPs the following year. After holding the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for two weeks, Rihanna’s eighth studio album has spent over 300 total weeks on the chart. Anti also earned a 3x-Platinum plaque from the RIAA.

Kendrick Lamar and TDE’s Black Panther: The Album held the Billboard 200’s #1 position for three weeks in 2018. The RIAA certified the soundtrack as Platinum. Black Panther: The Album picked up numerous industry awards such as a Grammy for Best Rap Performance (“King’s Dead”).

Regardless if the Black Panther soundtrack rumors turn out to be true, Rihanna already has a big year lined up for 2023. The billionaire Fenty fashion house founder will headline the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show in February.

Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City’ Spends 10 Years On Billboard 200 Chart

Good Kid, M.A.A.D City continues to make history. The album many Kendrick Lamar fans consider to be the California emcee’s magnum opus crossed another major milestone this week.

Lamar’s major label debut charted at #43 on the latest Billboard 200. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City has now spent ten years (520 weeks) on the publication’s album rankings.

The TDE/Aftermath/Interscope release already claimed the title as the longest-charting Hip Hop studio album of all time. Only Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits compilation (601 weeks) has remained on the Billboard 200 longer.

Kendrick Lamar skyrocketed to mainstream stardom following the arrival of Good Kid, M.A.A.D City in 2012. The project debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 242,000 first-week units sold.

Numerous music critics and outlets placed Good Kid, M.A.A.D City near the top of their best-of-the-year lists at the end of 2012 and best-of-the-decade lists at the end of 2019. Lamar earned five nominations at the 56th Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album and Album Of The Year.

Last week, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City earned more critical praise. Rolling Stone magazine recently named Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore effort the greatest concept album of all time. GKMC beat Green Day’s American Idiot for the top spot.

In addition to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, Kendrick Lamar’s catalog includes 2011’s Section.80, 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly, 2016’s Untitled Unmastered, 2017’s Damn, and 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. The Compton-bred rap star has remained on the Billboard 200 for a combined 987 weeks.

‘Superfly’ Actor Kaalan Walker Sentenced To 50 Years For Rape Conviction

Back in April, a California jury found Kaalan Rashad Walker guilty of multiple counts of rape. The 27-year-old actor learned he has been sentenced to 50 years in state prison.

The legal system convicted Kaalan Walker on three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication. According to reports, Walker would bait his victims by promising them access to famous people.

A defense attorney argued the women were out for “revenge” after they “voluntarily” made their decisions to have sex with Walker. However, that argument did not sway the jurors to acquit the defendant.

“We feel that with this verdict, the jury gave these victims back their voices,” stated Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace. “This was very sophisticated. He picked these girls and he appealed to their dreams and hopes and name-dropped Drake and used his connection to Halle Berry to get these girls somewhere and gain their trust.” 

Kaalan Walker played Juju in the 2018 Superfly remake. His filmography also includes an appearance in the Halle Berry-led 2017 motion picture Kings. Plus, Walker acted in BET’s In Contempt television series.

As a recording artist, Kaalan Walker released music under the moniker KR. He dropped several projects, including The Intermission in 2017 and In Due Time in 2018. KR even released a “First Day Out Freestyle” in 2021.

Joey Bada$$ Defends Kanye West Over Removed Interview

Kanye “Ye” West’s recent controversial comments have caused a media firestorm. A recent interview with Drink Champs ignited more backlash, but fellow rap star Joey Bada$$ defended Ye on social media.

The sitdown with Drink Champs included Kanye West making false claims about the death of George Floyd. West also continued to express antisemitic views while speaking about Jewish people.

Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. later apologized for platforming Kanye West’s questionable takes, and the video interview is no longer available on Revolt’s YouTube channel. Joey Bada$$ took issue with the decision to remove the interview.

“I don’t support everything Kanye been saying and honestly been trying my best to ignore most of it (for my own peace of mind) but censoring his right to freedom of speech is WACK. Askin him to come speak on your platform and then removing/blocking the content cuz you don’t agree?” tweeted Joey Bada$$ on Monday.

The Brooklynite added, “We can have healthy disagreements. And yes Kanye can do a much better job at his delivery but it’s the same old story. Magnifying a small piece of what he said and taking it out of context. The mass media needs to learn some new moves it’s corny and so obvious at this point.”

Joey Bada$$ Expresses Regret For Weighing In On The Ye Controversy

Those tweets about Kanye Ye led to Joey Bada$$ dealing with a barrage of negative responses. After numerous Twitter users blasted Badass for seemingly providing cover for West’s problematic behavior, the 2000 album creator tried to change the subject.

“I knew I shouldn’t have gotten into the Kanye web got d#####. Every time smh 😂 let’s proceed like I ain’t said a word bout this matter. Carry on people. How about this NBA season huh?” posted Joey Bada$$.

The 27-year-old musician/actor also wrote, “I don’t delete tweets tho. I’m not p####. I just bury tweets with more tweets until I get to a comfortable enough point to go ghost again. Like now.”

According to reports, the family of George Floyd is considering filing a lawsuit against Kanye West. The billionaire mogul falsely suggested Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose. A jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of murdering the unarmed African-American. Footage showed Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes.

Wiley Praises Stormzy, Says There Is No Beef: “We’re On The Same Side”

Wiley is giving Stormzy his flowers despite their apparent rivalry following a vicious rap beef. 

The Godfather of the U.K. Grime scene addressed the feud during a recent in-depth interview on Jibber with Jaber. When the topic turned to the genre’s biggest artists of the modern era, Wiley paid tribute to Stormzy.  

“The most recent grime MC/whatever rapper you’ve had is Stormzy. Big respect for Stormzy,” Wiley said before being challenged. 

“Now?” the host questioned, in reference to their past beef. Wiley explained they were participating in the “sport of Grime,” adding that he didn’t really want to go back and forth with Stormzy. “I’ve said that to him. ‘I felt bad because you’re not from my day of Grime.” 

When asked if they now “cool,” Wiley replied that while he hadn’t seen Stormzy, he believes the South Londoner is aware of “the business.” 

He explained, “that means we’re on the same side,” before adding that Stormzy is one of the biggest artists in the scene. “So right now, they’ll put him up there,” Wiley continued. “Now other people who are not up there from his era will be like, ‘oh he’s not even good’.”  

The U.K. Grime scene legend continued: “I actually got big respect for him because I know that it’s not easy to come in the game and do everything that he’s done and earn all that money without having your head screwed on.”  

Wiley also acknowledged Stormzy excelled in such a short period partly due to the groundwork he and his peers put in. Watch the interview in full below. 

The beef began in 2020 after Wiley criticized Stormzy for working with Ed Sheeran. The pair sent shots back and forth on explosive diss tracks. The “Vossi Bop” hitmaker branded the grime pioneer a “crackhead c**t” on Disappointed.” Wiley fired back with a threat to attack his rap rivals’ mother on “Eediyat Skengman 2.” 

While Wiley has been keeping a relatively low profile of late, Stormzy is gearing up to release new music. His third studio album, This Is What I Mean, is due to arrive next month following the release of the single “Mel Made Me Do It.” He shared the song with its iconic video last month after a nearly three-years long absence.  

Gunna Files Fourth Bond Motion A Week After Third Denial

Gunna is making a fourth attempt at getting out from behind bars, filing for bond for a fourth time just a week after being denied on his third try. 

The “Pushin P” rapper’s legal team filed legal docs dated (Oct. 17) seeking his release on bond, according to a Complex report. “On three prior occasions, Defendant Kitchens has moved the Court for a reasonable bond,” Gunna’s co-lead counsel Steven Sadow stated. On each occasion, the State has made proffers at hearings that turned out to be false and/or misleading.” 

Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, has remained in jail since his arrest in May. He and more than two dozen YSL members, including Young Thug, were indicted in a sweeping racketeering case. Gunna maintains his innocence after being charged with one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act. 

Gunna’s Team State Their Case For Bond

Lawyers for Gunna have taken issue with Judge Ural Glanville citing “all four bond factors” in denying his third request on Oct. 13, while only two factors were cited in refusing his second bond motion. The defence stated they find this “inexplicable.” 

We now know for certain,” Sadow writes, “that the State’s last-minute assertion at the third bond hearing on October 13 that there was a text message (not disclosed to Kitchens in discovery as the Court had expressly ordered) between two individuals (neither of whom was Kitchens), where one person ‘offered to murder’ another person on Kitchens’ behalf, was undeniably false.” 

The new filing says the State “has failed to proffer a single violent act or a single threat to a witness by Kitchens or on Kitchens’ behalf.” Sadow also points to “the State’s obvious willingness to say or do anything to deny Mr. Kitchens pretrial bail.” 

The motion concluded,” The Court deserves nothing less than to be told the truth by the prosecutors. Kitchens respectfully demands the truth to be told, for his continued pretrial detention based on lies and misrepresentations constitutes a miscarriage of justice.” 

Diddy Reaches Out To Gunna

Meanwhile, his celebrity friends have been offering support and encouragement during his time behind bars. Earlier this month, during a facetime call, Diddy told Gunna to “be laser focused,” in preparation for making a comeback.

Then, Kim Kardashian made another plea for Gunna’s release after meeting the rapper earlier this year. She stated she has worked with his legal team since his incarceration and there is “zero evidence that he committed a crime.”  

Nicki Minaj Defines The Term “Karen” After Latto Beef: “Manipulative And Passive Aggressive”

Nicki Minaj seemingly addressed her recent online war of words with Latto, explaining her definition of a “Karen.”

The “Do We Have A Problem” hitmaker opened up during an Instagram Live session with Ultimate Rap League Princess Nunu Nellz.  

“Being a Karen is more about being manipulative and being passive aggressive,” Nicki Minaj explained.“This is a great example if you think about it,” Nicki said before giving the scenario of a white woman accusing a Black man of something he did not do. 

“She knows that when that white police officer comes, he gone arrest that Back man because there’s already a stereotype of the Black man. So, she can easily pretend to be innocent and sweet in front of the cop because she knows that cop don’t like that Black man either.“ 

Nicki Minaj & Latto Twitter Beef

While Nicki Minaj stated, ”I’m not speaking about any specific person,” she did refer to Latto as a “Karen,” during their recent Twitter beef. The NYC rapper called out the Grammy committee for relisting her “Super Freaky Girl” single in the Pop category. She also mentioned Latto’s “Big Energy” remaining in contention for rap-focused Grammys. 

Latto responded, and the feud erupted, with both rappers sharing private DMs and hurling insults at each other.  

“This Karen has probably mentioned my name in over 100 interviews,” Nicki tweeted. “Says she waited in line for Pink Friday w|her Barbie chain on, bangs, pink hair…but today, scratch off decides to be silent; rather than speak up for the black woman she called her biggest inspiration. 🫡☺️😘”  

The pair went back and forth for hours in a serious beef that saw them trend on Twitter for the better part of 24 hours. 

“If you knew you were lying on me, right, and then got me attacked while you played innocent, then that’s what a ‘Karen’ means. Goodness gracious,” Nicki Minaj exclaimed to Nunu. “Papa Bear’s two years old and he can understand that.” Watch the interview in full below.

Jay-Z Sues D’Usse Partner Bacardi Over Transparency Concerns

Jay-Z is taking his partner in the cognac business to court, demanding transparency from Bacardi over just how big the D’Usse bag is.  

The business mogul’s company SC Liquor has filed a lawsuit against Bacardi, with whom Jay-Z has a 50/50 partnership in the Cognac brand. According to a new report from TMZ, Jay-Z wants complete financial clarity from Bacardi concerning D’Usse.  

Jay-Z and Bacardi have been co-owners of D’Usse since 2011. Hov and Beyoncé launched the new premium cognac during a party at LIV Nightclub in December of that year. While there have been no rumors of an internal rift, the lawsuit suggests something is amiss.  

The outlet reports Jay-Z is requesting access to information about D’Usse production and sales. The company wants all books and records for the business, and “the location of all warehouses storing D’Usse barrels, bottles and accessories.” The docs also request all the files pertaining to Bacardi’s physical inventory processes. 

While it is unclear why Jay-Z decided to file suit against Bacardi, the filing suggests trust has become an issue between the partners. In the court papers, SC Liquor states it needs to “monitor the conduct of [Bacardi’s] business to protect SC’s rights as” a partner in the company. 

Jay-Z often gives D’Usse a shout-out in his lyrics, promoting the liquor. Two years after the launch, Hov celebrated his triple Grammy win by sipping the high-end cognac out of the actual award. He picked up the nods for “N##### in Paris,” which won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, alongside “No Church in The Wild,” scoring Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. 

 Kanye West Responds To Antisemitism Criticism: “I Don’t Believe In That Term”

Kanye West has done another interview addressing his recent antisemitic remarks, this time appearing on Chris Cuomo’s new NewsNation show.  

The DONDA rapper spoke to the ex-CNN host about a range of topics. The interview came just hours after his controversial appearance on Drink Champs was taken down. Among them, Ye’s plan to purchase the social media platform Parler, the backlash surrounding his comments about Jewish people, and the state of his mental health.  

Cuomo challenged Kanye’s remarks about a “Jewish underground media mafia,” calling the comments “a figment of either your imagination or a projection of a prejudice.” He then explained to Ye that targeting “people because of their faith” can encourage others to do the same. 

“So we don’t want to tolerate that, and you are playing into that right now whether you know that or not,” Cuomo added.  

“And I don’t tolerate it as a Black person. What you just said was that you’re trying to say that there isn’t a collective — over 50% of the executives and CEOs in Hollywood are Jewish,” Kanye West replied. “You can’t tell me what to do or feel.” 

Kanye West Says He Does Not Believe In The Term “Antisemitism”

The rapper-turned-designer also repeated his belief that he cannot be antisemitic because Black people are Jewish.  

“I don’t like the term antisemitic,” Kanye stated. “It’s been a term that’s allowed people, specifically in my industry, to get away with murder—sometimes literally—and get away with robbing and doing bad [to] people. … You’re saying it’s antisemitic, but I don’t believe in that term. One thing is, Black people are also Jew. I classify as Jew also, so I actually can’t be a antisemite. So the term is actually, uh, it’s not factual.”  

Elsewhere in the interview, Kanye West said, “Jewish people own the Black voice.” However, despite the criticism, he says he is “coming from a place of love” and “a place of ‘We’re not gonna be owned by the Jewish media anymore.'”

Did The Feds Pay People To Watch Tsu Surf Social Media?

There’s so much going on right now, it is crazy. The feds are charging quite a lot with battle rap legend Tsu Surf. They are saying, among many other things, that he was selling pills and marijuana on IG. Damn, B. I hope this isn’t true, but I also hope it serves as a crazy big wake up call. Don’t do crime. Online, offline. Just don’t. Secondly, I hope you now know what we have known for a very long time: they’re watching. They have always been watching, by the way. Remember the Hip-Hop Police? Anyway, they reportedly caught Surf doing this in his DMs? MAN! Who remembers Chopper from Da Band allegedly selling women on IG? You should not do that. They can see everything you do.

On the other side of things, I am hearing that the Feds may be PAYING people to watch rap artists on social media. I mean, it ain’t hard work since “we” put so much of our business on social media. If you are a rapper, you may be prone to show us your guns or your ability to “keep it real” like you do in the songs.

This dude seems to be in circulation.

Yung Miami To Guest Star In Season 2 Of 50 Cent’s ‘BMF’ Series

Yung Miami will make her acting debut in the Starz series BMF when the show returns in January 2023.

The City Girls member confirmed her appearance in the 50 Cent-produced show on Monday (October 17). Yung Miami revealed her character’s name in a Twitter post promoting BMF’s second season.

“MEET DEANNA SEASON 2 #BMF,” She wrote. “Season 2 this January on Starz.”

Fellow City Girls member JT celebrated her rap partner’s acting gig on social media.

“OMFGGGGGG MY FAVORITE SHOW MY FAVORITE B#### IM SOOOO PROUD!” she wrote via Twitter. “This is a FLEX!!! Congratulations.”

Yung Miami won’t be the only notable guest star in the second season of BMF. Snoop Dogg, Mo’Nique and Leslie Jones will also appear in the returning series.

BMF premiered on Starz in 2021. The scripted series tells the story of the infamous Black Mafia Family. Demetrius Flenory Jr. portrays his father Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory in the show.

Yung Miami’s venture into acting comes on the heels of her entering the talk show business. The Quality Control rapper’s show Caresha Please debuted in June with Diddy as her first guest. Subsequent episodes featured artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Kevin Gates and Saweetie.

GloRilla Fires Back At Hitkidd; Says She Hasn’t Made A Cent From “F.N.F.”

GloRilla addressed her contract issues with “F.N.F.” producer Hitkidd after he aired out his grievances via social media on Sunday (October 16).

Hitkidd said he’s facing a legal battle over the rights to “F.N.F.” after GloRilla allegedly put the song in her contract with CMG and Interscope. GloRilla defended herself on Facebook, claiming she’s never received any money from the hit song.

“N#### done made so much money from FNF & I haven’t made not 1 red cent (other than shows),” GloRilla wrote. “But I’m stilll prospering cause guess what ??? I CAN RAP IN REAL LIFE & ain’t no mf 1 hit wonder!!!!”

She continued, “I WROTE EVERY SINGLE LYRIC IN EVERY SINGLE SONG I EVER PUT OUT & even after all this I still got luv for hitkidd cause we came up together even doe he been going behind my back every since the song blew but dats another story for another day. I just hate da fact he had to bring da business to social media when I could’ve BEEN came out about the snake s### he been doing to me.”

GloRilla also tackled HitKidd’s accusations in the comments of her Facebook post. She denied any wrongdoing, insisting “F.N.F.” wasn’t part of her CMG/Interscope contract.

“How tf I put FNF in my contract if it was already signed to yo label (blac noize) ????” she wrote. “Y’all believe anything. GOD DONT BLESS NO MESS DATS WHAT YOU GET FOR HAVING BAD INTENTIONS INA FIRST PLACE.”

GloRilla and Hitkidd released “F.N.F.” in April. The track went viral and peaked at No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September.

Lawyer Desperate To Find 6ix9ine Gets Approval To Serve His Probation Officer With Lawsuit

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s probation officer has been dragged into the polarizing rapper’s trademark dispute.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, attorney David Chase LanCarte received approval to serve 6ix9ine’s probation officer Sandra Osman with a lawsuit. LanCarte represents an artist named Warren Hamilton a.k.a. Six9 in a legal battle over Daniel Hernandez a.k.a. 6ix9ine’s stage name.

“Since I was admitted pro hac vice to appear and represent Plaintiff in the reference case, I have worked diligently to locate and serve Defendant Hernandez to no avail,” LanCarte explained. “I have also provided status updates to the Court concerning Plaintiffs efforts to try and serve Defendant Hernandez. Despite, Plaintiffs best efforts, Plaintiff has been unable to serve Defendant Hernandez who appears to be constantly on the move and surrounded by security.”

LanCarte planned to serve 6ix9ine’s lawyers at one point but faced more problems. As AllHipHop reported, attorney Robert Meloni and his law firm opted to stop representing 6ix9ine.

“On October 7, 2022, Attorney Robert Meloni filed a response with this Court, explaining that he no longer represents Mr. Hernandez, that he is withdrawing from every federal and state case that he represents Mr. Hernandez in, that Mr. Meloni does not have any way of contacting Mr. Hernandez, that Mr. Meloni does not know Mr. Hernandez current or last-known address, that Mr. Hernandez does not have an email address, that Mr. Hernandez does not have a business attorney, business manager, or personal manager, and that therefore the proposed alternative service on Mr. Meloni would not give Mr. Hernandez notice of the present action,” LanCarte noted.

Meloni’s withdrawal forced LanCarte to find another way to serve 6ix9ine.

“Given that personal service on Defendant Hernandez has become even more frustrated by Mr. Meloni’ s withdrawal as counsel and inability to communicate with Defendant Hernandez, Plaintiff has amended his motion for alternative service and requested that the Court now allow for alternative service on Defendant Hernandez by serving Defendant Hernandez’s probation officer, United States Probation Officer Sandra A. Osman of the Southern District of New York,” LanCarte wrote. “For the reasons given in Plaintiffs amended motion for alternative service, such proposed service is reasonably calculated to provide quick and sufficient notice to Defendant Hernandez of this present action.”

He added, “Plaintiffs request for an extension of time to serve Defendant Hernandez is not sought for delay, but so that justice can be done and the proceedings before this Court can move forward efficiently and without any further delay.”

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres granted the request on Monday (October 17). The deadline for serving 6ix9ine was extended until December 18.

Kanye West aligned with Donald Trump yet again while both men face backlash for antisemitism.

‘Ye announced he’s joining the former president’s Truth Social platform in an interview with Bloomberg on Monday (October 17). Kanye West revealed his intentions after news broke about him acquiring the right-wing social networking service Parler.

Kanye West made the move after Instagram and Twitter suspended his accounts over antisemitic posts. The controversial rapper told Bloomberg the suspensions prompted him to buy his own social media service.

“The most important resource that our species has is knowledge,” ‘Ye said. “This is the reason why the compression of thought and free thought has to be overcome to save the human race. It’s literally that serious. And that’s the reason why I am willing to put everything at risk because they’ve already taken enough from me for differences of opinion.”

According to Bloomberg, Kanye West plans to have dinner with Donald Trump this week. The twice-impeached politician also garnered outrage for antisemitism on social media.

“No President has done more for Israel than I have,” the ex-president wrote on Truth Social. “Somewhat surprisingly, however, our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S. Those living in Israel, though, are a different story – Highest approval rating in the World, could easily be P.M.! U.S. Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel – Before it is too late!”

“Crazy” Kanye Is Even Too Much For Donald Trump According To Reports

The man whom Kanye West once said was like a “father figure” to him now is calling him “crazy” and saying he needs to get himself some psychological “help.”

According to Rolling Stone, former president Donald Trump is allegedly negatively talking about the chart-topper-turned-presidential candidate.

45 has turned on Ye since he started spewing multiple antisemitic messages that claimed Jewish people are at the root of many of the problems in the world.

Trump, who once stated that the rapper had been “a friend of mine for a long time,” is now distancing himself from him after he got kicked off on Twitter and promised to go “death con 3” on “JEWISH PEOPLE,” in addition to his recently released “Drink Champ” interview.

In the three-hour interview, some people noticed Kanye also distanced himself from Trump, suggesting he was going to run against him (again) in 2024. 

In addition to expressing his distrust of the Trump camp and Tucker Carson, who broke the “White Lives Matter shirt” controversy on FOX News, he mentioned how much he loves Ivanka Trump, the real estate tycoon’s daughter.

In his remarks about Ivanka, he seemed to share his infatuation and how much he likes, saying he would never violate her husband the way other rappers have done him.

Multiple people close to the former president, who many believe is delusional as well, said Ye needed “help” and was acting too “crazy” for him to be aligned with. 

The associates said that Trump will not speak publicly about his feelings about his one-time ally.

N.O.R.E. Apologizes To The Family Of George Floyd For Kanye West’s ‘Drink Champs’ Interview

N.O.R.E. is “embarrassed” over his recent interview with Kanye West on Drink Champs and has apologized for not checking the rapper over his incorrect comments about George Floyd’s death. 

Ye falsely claimed George Floyd died from fentanyl and not asphyxiation. Police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on Floyd’s neck for over nine minutes. Two separate autopsies confirmed asphyxiation as the cause of death. 

Fans criticized the rapper and the podcast host once clips of the interview circulated online. While N.O.R.E. uploaded an extended clip questioning Ye about his recent controversial remarks on the Drink Champs YouTube channel, the backlash continued.  

N.O.R.E. called into Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning show today (Oct. 17) to discuss the episode. He apologized for not holding the rapper to account and revealed his embarrassment over the interview. N.O.R.E. also claimed that Kanye West threatened to walk out of the show.  

“I didn’t think he was gonna spread this ideology, I didn’t think he was gonna go there,” N.O.R.E. explained. “I thought that he was gonna have a couple of drinks. He smoked blunts with us, I thought it was gonna be light hearted.”   

N.O.R.E. Claims Kanye West Threatened To Walk Out

N.O.R.E. continued: “He threatened my producer, that if he couldn’t film he would walk out. We was trying to…That’s how our interviews go. We try to lighten you up, and then we get you drunk and then we get you to turn to our side.” He explained that they “tried to do that,” but it’s Ye. I learned my lesson, ’cause at the end of the day, as a journalist, I did my job. I let a person talk.” 

The rapper-turned-podcaster also admitted that he didn’t realize the extent of Kanye West’s remarks until he rewatched the episode. 

“As a journalist, you supposed to have no opinion, no options, none of that. But, I kinda, I’m Black. I am George Floyd,” he said before, adding,” I am Virgil [Abloh]. I am that. And I didn’t know ’til I saw it. I don’t watch my own interviews, I just think I’m that dope. So, when I watched myself, I was embarrassed. I was like, ‘Wait a minute, what did you let him just say?'” 

However, co-host Peter Rosenberg challenged N.O.R.E. over journalists’ responsibility to question false statements. Ultimately, N.O.R.E. apologized.  

“When I look back at the interview, I was like, ‘Damn, N.O.R.E., why did you wait two hours to address that,'” he added. “Even though I did feel I addressed it. I addressed it way too late. The interview way too long. And I’m embarrassed…I can blame this all on Kanye West but I’m not. I want to sit back and say I was irresponsible for letting it go.” Watch the interview below.

N.O.R.E. Apologizes To George Floyd’s Family

Later, during an interview on The Breakfast Club N.O.R.E. also apologized to the family of George Floyd amid the news they are considering suing Kanye West over his comments.  

“I apologize to the George Floyd family. I apologize to anyone who was hurt by Kanye West’s comments,” he said.

YK Osiris is a young singer that is actually talented. Can I name one of his songs? No. I know tat he is talented because I know! And, he has a lot of top tier affiliations that mean he has to have some talent. I saw him hanging with Drake. There were these weird rumors that he was Diddy’s “boy toy,” which was really strange to me. I am not here to spread rumors today! I am here out of an overabundance of concern!

The internets are saying that YK might be going through a mental breakdown or even having suicidal thoughts! I am not the one! I want this young man to be well. But, I also want him to stop comparing his worth to the very people that I mentioned before!

Well, now the boy is feeling really low because people like Drake and DaBaby no longer mess with him. What did he think they were, friends? I don’t get it! I hope that he comes to his mental senses and realizes that those people are probably not his buds, especially if they are cool with dropping him so easily.

In an IG rant, he alluded to no longer wanting to live.

“Who cares about Osiris? Nobody cares, nobody f***s with you. If I crash out right now, how would people feel? I don’t got nobody, I don’t got no friends.”

“Drake don’t f***k with me either. Me and Drake don’t talk. Me and Lil Baby don’t talk. Nobody in the industry f***s with Osiris. Nobody. So don’t keep using that s***t people. We don’t talk. Lil Baby don’t f***k with me no more. Drake don’t f***k with me no more. Nobody f***ks with Osiris. So why the f*** do I keep living? Y’all not getting it. So you tell me why should I keep living? I don’t get it. Y’all tell me all types of s***, but I’m giving you explanations, why should I keep living?”

Well, I hope he sobered up or got some help from a professional in the mental health field. This isn’t what we need.

Hitmaker and career gambler Drake just lost big in Barcelona, Spain, at the El Clasico on Sunday, October 16th. And as a result, multiple superstars from the European nation teased the Champagne Papi for not winning his bet.

The Billboard charts history maker made of huge wager that Barcelona would be Real Madrid, losing $611,540.02 in the first competitive El Clasico of the season.

Fans knew Drake was in the building after seeing his OVO logo on Barcelona’s players’ shirts. While he was supporting the team, it also was to celebrate a milestone in his musical career.

The acclaimed artist, whom Kanye West recently said was “the greatest rapper ever,” posted the news on his social media, saying, “To celebrate being the first artist with 50 billion streams on @spotify @FCBarcelona will wear the OVO owl at El Clasico on Sunday 😵‍💫 this doesn’t feel real but it is 😂🤷🏽‍♂️”

Real Madrid soccer player Rodrygo took to his social media to poke fun at rapper on his Instagram Story. In the image he can be seen celebrating his goal and pointing at the crest. The caption was simple, saying, “God’s Plan.”
