(AllHipHop Rumors) Hip-Hop J. Cole superstar is one of the genres premier acts. His albums have been described as phenomenal with some of their themes culture-bending.
In 2018, J. Cole released his K.O.D album. The album’s artwork would be the prelude to its content for listeners.
More than a year later from the album’s initial release, J. Cole is now being called out about the artwork. J. Cole has been touring and selling merchandise with the artwork included on it.
Now we’re seeing the creator behind the artwork call out Cole. Sixmau aka Kamau Haroon, the creator, is saying J. Cole mislead him in the agreement and then withheld tons of cash.
“I did all the creative direction for the KOD album and he told me my work was only going to be used for booklet art. Only to turn around and make merchandise illegally with my art behind my back and profit majorly off it while on tour. F##k them.,” said Sixmau on Twitter
He continued, “THIS IS EXACTLY HOW HE IS ABLE TO EXPLOIT PEOPLE. HIS MESSAGE OF POSITIVITY MAKES THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE WHILE HE FINESSES THE MONEY BEHIND THEY BACK.”
The artist now claims he is on the verge of homelessness after not being compensated.
Do you think J. Cole is fair with his business practices?
