Rappers lie about a lot and oftentimes they fake lifestyles. Future now seems to open up about doing the same. Future had a pretty amazing year in 2015 with No. 1 albums, his 'Dirty Sprite 2 Mixtape', his collaborative effort with Drake, 'What A Time To Be Alive,' and more. One can't help but to notice that in Future's lyrics, he often talks about being drugged out. In a recent interview with Clique, Future wanted to clear up a few things.
"I’m not like super drugged out or a drug addict. My music may portray a certain kind of image and I know it’s some people that might be super drugged out and they listen to the music like, ‘Ay thank you, you speaking for me’ and then some people that’s no that feel like, Man I don’t have to do drugs, I can listen to Future and feel like I’m on something’ and don’t have to try. I don’t do it for you to really have to live that type of life.”
When asked why he would portray such a persona, Future replied saying,
"It's a catch."
A little bit irresponsible or nah? What are your thoughts?
