MTV's Making The Band May Be Making A Comeback

(AllHipHop Rumors) Is Diddy’s Making The Band coming back to MTV? Who could forget all the craziness that came from Choppa, E.Ness, Dylan, Babs, and Sara Stokes living in one house? That was must see T.V. That’s the buzz going around. In an Instagram live video Diddy announced that he was in convos with MTV about rebooting the popular reality music series.

Addressing the matter as only can, Diddy said, “Something interesting happened this morning that I need to share with you guys.” Years ago I did something that will go down in television history. This show called Making the Band. Now, I'm trying to figure out my schedule for the next 24 months...but MTV called me out of nowhere and was like, 'What do you think about partnering and bringing Making the Band back?'"

"@MTV called me about bringing it back, should I? #IWantMyMTB," Combs said on Twitter. The tweet actually came as a reply to Wale and Seth Rogen reminiscing about the 2000s classic back in April. Wale quickly gave his stamp of approval. "The turnover time is epic. But yes . Brother love .. we would like making the band back," Wale wrote.

Making the Band first started on ABC then moved to MTV in 2002 and ran until October 2009. Making His Band was the final season. Several acts made it to big time from Making The Band including Danity Kane, Day26, Da Band and Donnie Klang.
