Jaz-O Lands A Deal With Jay-Z's Roc Nation

(AllHipHop Rumors) Are the Originators reuniting? That’s what it looks like from here. Jay-Z and his big homie Jaz-O, who was the first person to put Hov on wax and in videos, have put their beef aside and collaborating once again.

Everybody starts somewhere. Before Jay-Z became a billionaire and had the hottest chick in the game wearing his chain, he was the sidekick of his rap mentor Jaz-O. Awhile back, the two Brooklyn MC’s had a falling out and both ended up dissing each other.

Now it's being reported that Jay-Z has signed former mentor and collaborator Jaz-O to Roc Nation.

Time has healed old wounds and the Brooklyn emcees are back working together. Surprising everybody who saw it way back In 2017, Hov and Big Jaz was spotted in pic together and everything looked calm and peaceful. This was the first time in almost 20 years since their messy and public falling out way back in 2002.

According to a report in Onsmash, Jaz landed a distribution deal under Hov’s label. Back in April, Big Jaz made the announcement on Instagram. The deal reportedly stipulates that Jaz’s Kingz Kounty Media Group will be getting Equity Distribution from the imprint.

The two began beefing in public allegedly because Jaz-O having said no to signing a contract with Jay , when he, Dame Dash, and Kareem “Biggs” Burke started Roc-A-Fella Records. Jay-Z addressed this in on The Blueprint 3 on “They Say.” .” He said, “Dame made millions, even Jaz made some scraps/He could've made more, but he ain't sign his contract. YIKES!
