(AllHipHop Rumors) Although J. Cole doesn't get on social media much, he made a return for two reasons.
The North Carolina rapper addressed the controversy following President Donald Trump's offensive remarks about NFL players and their protests.
Before Cole shared his thoughts and opinions about how he believes we as a society should protest and react, he shouted out Hip Hop rising star, Cardi B!
Cardi B has truly been winning with cosigns from Drake, Rihanna, photos with and kind words from Beyonce and Jay-Z, a No.1 Billboard Hot 100 single with "Bodak Yellow", and now a shout out from J. Cole.
J. Cole also offered Cardi some advice about her debut album.
"Also Cardi b I seen your breakfast club interview, loved it. Don't put all that pressure on your album. You already won. Just drop & repeat," tweeted J. Cole.
During Cardi's interview with The Breakfast Club, she revealed that she's struggling with releasing her debut album due to all the success of "Bodak Yellow" and the pressure it puts on her for her next releases.
"Every single time I think, ‘I got all the 10 songs,’ I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m buggin’. These ain’t it'. It’s just like, ‘Damn! I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record and stuff,'" she said.
Cardi also took to Twitter to let J.Cole know that his tweet made her heart smile!
Congrats Cardi on hitting No. 1!
