Michel'le’s biopic will finally hit TV next month. The singer who rose to fame in the late 1980s Hip Hop world alongside N.W.A., is ready to tell her story in 'Surviving Compton': Dre, Suge & Michel’le', a Lifetime original movie.
The movie will show the singer's tumultuous life in and out of the limelight, and it will also show her success with N.W.A, as well as her relationships with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight. The movie will also chronicle her life of alcohol and drug use as well.
Although 'Straight Outta Compton' failed to show Michel'le's violent relationship with Dr. Dre, her Lifetime biopic will.
Dr. Dre did eventually apologize for his past violent behavior involving Michel'le, Dee Barnes, and any other women that he hurt.
The trailer for the movie shows Dr. Dre choking Michel'le in the studio and even threatening to kick her a** in front of others.
We aren't sure how good the film will be given Lifetime's biopic history, but we do know it's going to bring back attention to a lot of crazy occurrences during the era.
Surviving Compton premieres Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
