Following the recent virtual flogging of Clueless actress, Stacey Dash, she continues to tackle controversial subjects. The friend of Fox News would delver deeper into the America's embedded race issue. In Patheos, her personal blog, the Right wing commentator would share her thoughts on the topic of British actor --Joseph Fiennes -- who was cast to portray Michael Jackson in an upcoming film.
"But I say, BRAVO! I’m sick and tired of being told “Sorry, Stacey, this is a Caucasian-only role.” Counterintuitively, this decision by Hollywood — which looks like a diss to blacks — is actually what we’ve been saying all along: roles should NOT be based on color," she wrote.
The daring Dash would then try to make a correlation between the popular broadway play, Hamilton. The Hip-Hop infused play has earned financial success for its Black and Latino thespians. Although Mr. Obama has been America's president of color, given the cast's ethnic diversity, Stacey claims Hollywood and the Arts are making progress.
Dash then added, "I don’t care about the race of the actors portraying historical figures and I can’t wait to see Joseph’s portrayal of Jackson… It’ll be amazing as long as he plays him truthfully and authentically."
