(AllHipHop Rumors) #SurvivingCardiB! YOOOOOOOO! We are living in some very strange times. I am not sure what we are doing these days, but - out of her mouth - Cardi B used to rob men that wanted sex from her by drugging them. Now, Bill Cosby is sitting in a cell, because he drugged women and had sex with them. They are almost kindred spirits in drugging people! There are a couple of differences. 1) Cardi B is a woman. 2) Bill Cosby is a man. 3) Bill was trying to get sex. 4) Cardi B was trying to get money. And there are a few minor differences, but one thing is for certain - drugging people is wrong! So, why isn't there any outrage in the mainstream?
Well, first of all, men behaving badly is all the rage - like a trend that will never end - and Cardi ain't a man. Second of all, some of these people are just haters and fans of Nicki Minaj. I think #SurvivingCardiB will come to and end, because none of the men she drugged are going to come to the front, because they will look like a simp - not a victim. We are still not to the point as a society where men can say "I was abused" or "I was victimized" and not look like a complete sucker. So, with Cardi yelling this at the top of her lungs, I find it hard to believe there is very little fanfare around it, considering how serious the charges are.
I am also thinking that Cardi B is such a media darling at this point that she is going to be protected to some degree. Some of accused the media of overlooking it, but I don't think that is it. The media, at this point, takes a lot of cues from trending topics. This was a blip on the radar over the same weekend the Mueller report came in. I think it just got swept under the rug accidentally in that way. Personally, I would like to see more attention on this just so people realize that it happens. Haters will act like men are the only trash. They may be the majority of the trash, but they aren't the only trash.
By the way, I am not calling Cardi B trash. But if she was drugging men, it is wrong. Be gangster and just rob them! Anyway, noting is going to come out of this, but I will wait and see.
