Hits Daily Double is reporting The King Of The South is done with his situation over at Columbia Records.
"Having just exited my deal at Columbia, I was a rogue artist, busting creativity, just waiting to put music in the marketplace," T.I. is quoted as saying. "So while I'm sorting out my next situation, I'm blessed enough to be able to control my destiny and put music out as quickly as I want to."
Tip just dropped a surprise indie EP called Da Nic through Empire Distribution. That's the same company that has handled releases from Kendrick Lamar, N.O.R.E, Tyga, Snoop, and others. Up next is the full album The Dime Trap coming fourth quarter.
