As we know Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, and 9th Wonder formed a collective called Indie 500. Indie 500 was created with the purpose of being a greater force independent from the major label system. The three power players wanted to join not just on the rap side, but on the touring and business side as well. Rumor has it that Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, and 9th Wonder are now forming a group as well. This is interesting, especially since Monch said he was retiring. If this is true, it will be nice to hear "traditional" Hip-Hop and deeply rooted Hip-Hop music. I think we are all tired of "radio rap".
