(AllHipHop Rumors) YOOOOOO! The BET Hip-Hip Awards was lit! My favorite parts were the ciphers, the URL Battle and…of course Megan Thee Stallion. But, there were some things that just were left on the floor of the edit room or, perhaps happened on the red carpet.
When Da Baby won Best New Hip-Hop artist, Megan Thee Stallion looked genuinely hurt. She wanted that one, sources said.
“Jermaine Dupri – mad respect, but sounds like you hating…” – Rapsody sending shots at DJ. Remember JD said something about all women rappers being like strippers today? She rightfully so…took it personal.
Did you see when Teyana Taylor got up there? She was funny when she pulled out her reading glasses. Well, there was this “eccentric” dude in the audience in a flaming bodysuit that was extremely disruptive the whole show…or most of the show.
At the beginning of the show, Lil Duval did a hilarious skit with “The City Boys” where several strippers came out. Towards the end, brought out a lil person stripper and one on a wheelchair. Well at the end of the skit, Duval “rode” on the back of the wheelchair like he was humping her. It was over the top!
Kash Doll killed the cipher. I will definitely be looking up her!
IMAN – Iman Asante Shumpert is Teyana Taylor’s hubby and he did his thing on the cipher. Did you peep that?
Chance The Rapper was like the coolest, nicest dude. He was taking pictures with everybody that asked and was among the people.
If you couldn’t tell from the TV, Lil Kim KILLED IT! It was so dope to see her get her “roses” right there in front of everybody.
DNA kinda killed everybody. Why didn’t the homie Tsu Surf get on the stage since he is one of the best battle rappers out there.
