This past year was nothing short of amazing for Guru, with the release of Jay-Z’s album 4:44 and the success of Rapsody’s Roc Nation debut Laila’s Wisdom.

Despite Guru’s success and extensive resume, many may not know his roots began in the small state of Delaware.

In this two part Interview, Young Guru sits down with AllHipHop.com/Delaware journalist Dominick “King Dom” Draper, live at Bull Bay Caribbean Cuisine in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

The “Corner Store Conversation” spans Guru’s early years at Howard High School, his relationship with Jay-Z and more.
