Never one to fail pull out all of the stops when it comes to a thoroughly modern means of promoting a movie, especially when it's a nontraditional retelling of America's checkered past with post civil war race and gender relations, Quentin Tarantino was up front and center when Channing Tatum, his "secret" "The Hateful Eight" star, was dueling it out against wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum on Spike TV's "Tatum Takeover" Lip Sync Battle, as seen here:
Jenna did some true damage "Magic Mike XXL" style with Ginuwine's "Pony", leaving Channing to answer back with Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)" single. It looked like good lip sync business as usual until all music hell broke loose when Sasha Fierce herself turned up with something "Hateful" to say and show about exactly whose world it was, is and always will be. See it all here in a vivid, good fun Quentin Tarantino worthy instant replay:
Ain't it something when a diva brings a gun to a knife fight?
