DJ Khaled Explains Why His New Record "Higher" With Nipsey Hussle Was A Gift

DJ Khaled talks about the impact of the late, great Nipsey Hussle.

DJ Khaled says he was "blessed" to have worked with Nipsy Hussle on the late rapper's final recording.

"I love the record and the record is called 'Higher' and the message on the record is beautiful. It's gospel, it's special and the marathon continues, long live Nip," DJ Khaled said.

"Higher" features the last known official Nipsey Hussle verse, but Khaled said the star – who was shot dead on 31 March 2019 - will live on through music.

I'm thankful for this song. It inspires and angers me so much because he's no longer here and that just hurts.
