The rap star received the honor in Hollywood on Monday and Dr. Dre was on hand to share some thoughtful words.

Snoop Dogg was honored with the 2,651st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.

Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, Jr, was saluted by Dr. Dre, Pharrell Williams and producer Quincy Jones, who introduced the man of the hour, calling him a "visionary."

"I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive," Snoop Dogg said. "I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times."

Super producer/Aftermath boss Dr. Dre was on hand to honor Snoop Dogg, who is one of his many discoveries.
