Nas, Black Thought And More Help Salaam Remi Does It For The Culture!

-edited

Salaam Remi is back, but he never truly left us. Check out what he's up to and how he's changing the world.

(AllHipHop Videos) Salaam Remi is essentially a national treasure, with a legacy in stone with the likes of Nas, Amy Winehouse, The Fuguees, Fergie, Black Thought, Joell Ortiz, Estelle, Miguel and more. The man, born and reared in New York City, has been a staple in rap since the early 90's but has not ceased to grow and foster icons.

And, Salaam continues to grow with a roster that includes some old favorites as well as some new ones too. Salaam returned from his Miami hideaway for a few days to talk about his new collabs with Nas, Joell Ortiz, Bodega Bamz and others and how he is releasing Do It For the Culture 2. He's already shaken things up with the Nas and Amy Winehouse joint “Find My Love,” “Roll The Dice” featuring Gallant, "Carrot Juice" featuring Terrace Martin, and “Shake Dat Je'llo" featuring Joell Ortiz.

Salaam sat down with Chuck Creekmur to discuss the true state of the culture and then some. The outcome in a remarkably frank and honest conversation.
